Best Local Daytona Beach Deli and Bakery
Elanit and Michael Robertucci moved to Florida from Atlantic City with intentions of retiring comfortably amidst Daytona's beautiful beaches and relaxing atmosphere. Once they came to the area they decided to open New York Style Bagel & Deli and bring a true taste of New York's famous fresh breads, meats and stacked sandwiches. The staff is incredibly friendly, cheerful and helpful whether you're sitting down to enjoy your full meal or ordering for take-out.
New York Style Bagel Deli is not only a huge hit with visitors, snow birds and retirees but also remains an all-time favorite for the area locals. The Deli/Restaurant is the one and only authentic taste of New York's fresh deli cuts, bagels and a variety of homemade cream cheeses this side of the New York state line. They are famous for their Reubens and Philly Cheese Steaks which is part of their lunch menu. Their corned beef is cooked in house and is also a recurring favorite among their loyal patrons. Some of Waverly Property Group's favorites include the Everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese, biscuits and gravy and of course the corned beef sliced thin with provolone to top.

Riverfest and Marine Discovery Center
Riverfest is a celebration in New Smyrna Beach, FL of food, the arts and marine wildlife. It is put on every year by the Marine Discovery Center and is focused on bringing the community together for a "Taste of New Smyrna." There is live music, local restaurants, marine demonstrations and more. It was held in May of 2008 and will probably be held in spring or early summer of 2009.

Daytona Beach is famous for its NASCAR races which were founded here in the late 1950's. The Daytona International Speedway hosts numerous automobile and motorcycle races throughout the year that are attended by millions of people annually. Bike Week (which was initiated on the sands of Daytona Beach in 1937) is a 10 day Mardi Gras like experience. It has to be seen to be believed.
